I've just posted a quick little guide on adding cross stitch to clothing (or other non-evenweave fabric) to my site using my baby Onesies as an example. It's loaded with pictures so I won't bother to repost it here.

Re: Cross stitch on clothing tutorial
I know this thread is old, but I just saw it.
I've done a piece with the waste canvas and it is a pain in the rear to remove it at the end. I was curious, has anyone tried DMC's new water soluble canvas? They say that it dissolves in warm water when you're done. Curious if anyone had tried it, good/bad? like/dislike? Just curious.

Re: Cross stitch on clothing tutorial
I've tried it the soluble stuff. I'm my one time experience of it, it worked like it said but my work ended up hard and lost its shine (the threads I mean). This has put me off using it in the future and I'm now looking to use the waste canvas in the future.I don't know what happened with the soluble stuff, I can't see how I went wrong with it. If anyone knows, please let me know, cause it was good otherwise.
