These paintings are beautifully done. Great job transforming them into cross stitch patterns .

Re: (Classic) paintings cross stitch patterns
I was thinking of a couple more that might be cool in cross stitch:
Symphony in Rose-Claude Monet
landscape with butterflies-Salvador Dali
Maestros-VIncent Van Gogh

Re: (Classic) paintings cross stitch patterns
I have some I'd love to see made into patterns.
The Lady of Shallot by John William Waterhouse
La Belle Dame sans Merci by Sir Frank Dicksee (idk why it's censoring his name grrr)
The Accolade by Edmund Blair Leighton
Or any Arthurian painting really but those are my favorites.

Because the board censor has part of his name as a wildcard so anything containing it will be censored. Which is annoying when you want to type it in for totally legitimate purposes. Let me see if I can fix that for you.Remy wrote:(idk why it's censoring his name grrr)
EDIT: There you are.

Re: (Classic) paintings cross stitch patterns
Here are 4 new patterns
Claude Monet,
Water Lily Pond - Symphony in Rose, 1900.
(133 x 120 sts, 27 colors)
Pattern
John William Waterhouse,
The Lady of Shalott, 1888.
(250 x 200 sts, 32 colors)
Pattern
Frank Bernard Dicksee,
La Belle Dame Sans Merci, 1890.
(250 x 200 sts, 31 colors)
Pattern
Edmund Blair Leighton,
The Accolade, 1901.
(150 x 200 sts, 27 colors)
Pattern
So... What do you think ... ?
Addy, could you show me a pic of the Van Gogh painting you want ? I can't find one named "Maestros"... ?
I also tried with the Dali "Landscape with Butterflies", but it's a hard one ; many colours, and not as many threads I wish for the gradient colours... I'll try again later, I don't give up
