So I'm guessing 18 count is smaller squares? So smaller X's? Why would you need to do it on 18 count instead of 14 count? Because I think all my mom's got is 14 count. And if you do it on 14 count with the end result be much bigger? Will it take more time or something? Why do you need to do it on 18?
Also another question. How big a piece should I buy if I'm gunna do it on 14 count? Or is that not advisable?
And LASTLY!!! how do I get the pattern? I can't open those sth things or whatever they are. I have windows but I must not have the right program or something so how can I get this on my computer??
Anywhoo. This is pure genius! And I am sooo excited to start it!
Aida cloth is sold in different size squares. 18 count means that there are 18 squares in an itch, 14 count means that there are 14 squares in an inch, and so on.
If you did this on 14 count aida, it would be much bigger, approximately 18.3 x 32.1 inches. You don't need to use 18 count for this pattern, I use that as a guide when I make my patterns as it is what I nearly always use. A scroll frame would most likely be useful for this pattern.
To open up the .sth files, you need a program called KG Chart, it's free and is found here:

I'll get a PDF file put up as well.
