I came across this site and thought some of these images might be good patterns for stitching. They would probably be huge if you used the smallest letters as the basis for pixels, so the pics might have to be edited a little bit to make them more stitch-able.
Diagrams include:
- Bowser
- Ganon
- a chocobo
- Yoshi
- a cheep-cheep
- a blooper
I tried editing the Blooper to be the smallest I could get them.
The pixels for the Blooper are the largest, one pixel on the Blooper is 4x4 pixels.
I've spent hours re-pixeling this in paint.
My head is killing me.
I would love to stitch this, but I think it's pretty big.
Longest length it 53 cm, I believe.
wow. That really is big. Although I think you might be able to make it smaller. The small text labels are the thing causing it to be so large, so if you only wanted one label: english or chinese/japanese, not sure which. Then you could halve the whole design, so the koopla is only 2x2 stitches per pixel.
Nicely copied though. If you don't want to do it, I might be able to see what I can do. Ever since I saw the "Yoshi, tastes like chicken" I've wanted to stitch this...
The Blooper is the only thing that's making this pattern so huge, I might go back and make it so that it's 3x3 pixels.
The words are 1x1 and the items in the frames and the frames themselves are 2x2 pixels.

But if you remove the Chinese you can change the text so its in the same scale as the items in frames. That way everything can have halved...
So the text would be double the thickness (2x2) on the current scale.
I knew they would be huge because of the small writing. Using 24 count cloth would still have this pattern at 12"x12". Maybe make the lettering twice as big and use the pixels in the food areas as the smallest? That way Blooper would be 2x2 blocks instead of 4x4.
