SpriteStitch Blog Compromised?

Postby sirinth » Mon Jun 04, 2018 8:59 pm

Uh. Is it just me or has the main spritestitch.com site been compromised?
It's loading to a phishing page claiming I have a virus and to call a number. (which you should not do ever if you see a similar prompt elsewhere)

Is whoever hosts the site aware of this? I haven't seen any posts about it yet, so figured I'd ask...

Looks like the homepage has been mostly restored, if a little broken (blank slider)
But yikes!

Now that you mention it, I did have a freaky error message like that last week!

Yeah I've been personally aware of it for about a week or so, naturally I informed johloh immediately. He was trying to sort it last I heard.

I would advise clearing out cookies and stuff if you've had any dodgy pages or pop ups from the main page, and just avoid the page for now until I hear that it's 100% working again. :)
