I been surfing through older posts and have seen a few posts where most of the images have been replaced by the dreaded photobucket "PLEASE UPDATE YOUR ACCOUNT TO ENABLE 3RD PARTY HOSTING" pic.
ex:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=348
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=514
I'm not sure how long this will work, but I've been using this Chrome Extension to fix them/make the photos visible.
Photobucket Embedded Image Fix 0.6
This extension fixes nuked Photobucket pictures.
You can also save the image files, but if you see something like .jpg-original, you should rename it .jpg
I just thought I'd share it in case anyone else comes across this problem and just really wants to see the images.
If anyone else has a Chrome Extension, Firefox Add-on, etc for this problem, it'd be great if you can share here.
Also, I was wondering if we should grab the images and repost them to forum when we notice it with a comment like "repost of broken image from original username" ? For people who don't want to use extensions or for when they eventually stop working too.
