I haven't done very much video game cross stitches, only a kirby bookmark, but I love to use video games as inspirations in a lot of other crafts- like resin, or leather.

Hello there, I came across this site when looking for other video game crafts. I have been cross stitching and playing with perler beads since I was three years old. Not that much of my stuff was interesting back then, but I can say that I've been doing it almost ,my whole life. I love just about every game for SNES and NES, eariler games, and RPGs. I am in the process of setting up a Etsy shop with some of my stuff for sale. One of my main motives is to post patterns that I have made with the stitched result.

Hello all,

I just wanted to say hello and that i am so glad i found this site. I have been doing fun lil cross stitches for ages. Sprites are perfect for lil gifts. I had no idea that someone was good enough to start a site dedicated to gaming crafts!!

I am already inspired and have some new ideas and some new patterns to do thanks to other members! I will post patterns as well here from now on.

Some geeky crafts i have done before i found this great site include:

Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2 (my pride and joy)
http://siths-stitches.deviantart.com/ar ... e-67485088

Mega Man (i saw someone here used the same sprite in a diffrent project)
http://siths-stitches.deviantart.com/ar ... h-67484191

Superman logo
http://siths-stitches.deviantart.com/ar ... h-75493440

and Wolfenstien Logo (which kinda started it all)
http://siths-stitches.deviantart.com/ar ... h-58328384

I the PH one was sorta a test for the basic shape. The program i use spit out quite the sloppy full color so i made it simple first work out the kinks. I want to recreate a throw pillow someone made. I would contact them and ask to buy it but they deleted thier account on deviantart so....*shrug* i can manage myself :)

I will post these patterns is i can find my orginal files....had a bit of a computer crash, but i think they are buried somewhere in my back up files.

Anyway....look forward to doing some challages and sharing with you guys!

Howdy, all. My name's Xan and I live in Texas (as if that weren't evident already.) I learned to cross-stitch many, many years ago and completely forgot it. However, I've recently been trying to get back into it and, as with any hobby I join, I'm trying to find the geekiest outlet possible!

I'm really excited to have stumbled upon this place and I'm looking forward to tackling some projects soon! Nice to meet everyone!

Hi !

I'm Loora, 26, from France. I've grown up cross stitching and playing Mario 3, so I guess the miracle is that it took me such a long time to think about combining the two... My interests include not only cross stitch, but every form of embroidery (traditional, crewel, white work, blackwork, japanese embroidery and I may be forgetting about half a dozen techniques).

Right now, I'm looking for a software that could replace excel. That's right, I'm making patterns with Excel. Anyone heard anything about a free (or low-cost) MAC cross stitch software ? I'll be browsing the forum to see if anyone has anything on this.

By the way, this site rocks !! :1up :1up
