Re: Introductions
Hi
thanks for adding me. I'm a 43 year old nerd lady who lives in Cheshire, UK. I was very surprised to find a whole forum that merged two of my hobbies of sewing and computer games, this is like heaven!
I only have 1 WIP running at a time, so I am currently doing a kit of the kings and queens of England. I found a LOT of patterns on here I really want to do. I have downloaded quite a few, and bought 150 threads for one I am particularly fond of - may not be when I am trying to sew all of those colours though!

Re: Introductions
Welcome! I want to be you when I grow up - one WIP at a time sounds like magic to me. (My current count is 12, which is already an improvement on the 17 it was a few months ago)

Re: Introductions
My first post!!
Hi everyone! I doubt anyone's going to read this butbhere goes anyway!
I'm Chibifiedkitsunes, 28 years of age! I was born in the best era ever!
I am obsessed with cross stitching and as of yesterday, had 3 wips running. It's back down to 2 now (with one being a stitch-a-long and the other the Gen 1 Pokemon).
You can track my progress and updates on Instagram under the #chennystitches
I'm a high school teacher by trade and hermit stitcher by night. Love it so much I also started an after school cross-stitch club for my students! We've grown from 6 students to 16 over the year~

Thanks! The school has a rule about after school activities. They had to be creative, active or a skill.Hellfire wrote:chibifiedkitsunes wrote:I'm a high school teacher by trade and hermit stitcher by night. I like to think cross-stitch comes under all 3. Hahaha!
I'm getting the students to contribute their completed work in an exhibition in a week's time.

Re: Introductions
Hi! I'm Ailani.
I started cross stitching in 7th grade, but I didn't like it. Then, in high school, I picked it up again and haven't put it down since! I'm currently in a heavy Zelda phase #noregrets.
Here is a pattern I ripped off a couple different areas, one of which is deviantart (where I don't have an account so I can't post anything).
Credit goes to makibird-stitching for the pattern. http://makibird-stitching.deviantart.co ... -291450837
