I was hoping to get a copy of this image made. Size isn't an issue (relatively, 12 inches tall-ish), and I don't mind the confetti stitches. I've always loved Hance's work, and have yet to find any patterns online.
I realized I linked the wrong photo lol. With this one, size really isn't too much if an issue to keep the details. Would most likely be stitched on 28 linen.
I got this pattern started; the colors still need some tweaking though. Right now mostly the blues seem off. Anyway, it's a start for anyone who cares to clean it up a bit. You could also change the flower in her hand to backstitching to give it more detail.
This would be about 24" tall on 14 count fabric, 21" on 16 count, and 18.6" on 18 count. I did as much editing as I can without having floss samples to choose better colors; I'm guessing his vest would look better with actual thread than it does on screen since they're all different shades of grey. Feel free for anyone to adjust the colors more if you have the capability.
