Re: Stained Glass LotR
Here you go. It comes out to be 28 inches square on 16 count aida. 448x448 stitches and 78 colors. I tried my best to match colors with my DMC thread color card, but if there are any that look off when stitching, feel free to change. If anyone would like the other coloration, just let me know and I'll work on it.Moxiedoodle wrote:I second the pattern request for Road to Gondor. Here's another coloration that would look amazing on black Aida. I'm thinking 16 count, around 26 to 30 inches square for detail.
Happy stitching!

@Firehawke: Thank you!
I'm glad to help fellow stitchers find a pattern they want. I only hope to find the time to stitch at least one of these Stained Glass patterns in my life.
I'm currently working on both colorings of Long Adventure with a Hobbit. These patterns are huge and will take me awhile to clean up.
Till my next posting with those patterns,
Happy Stitching!

Thanks for all your hard work and your attention to detail!
I hope you get a chance to stitch some of these, too!

Happy Christmas in July!
I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post this pattern, it's been a busy year.
Long Adventure with Hobbit (old color version) This pattern is massive to save detail. Any brave soul who stitches this pattern has my admiration.
667x320 stitches on 18 count Aida. 79 colors.
I will work on the new color version if anyone is interested. It will take me a long time to clean up as well.

I need to finish up some projects (or at least make it to October) before I can start working on one of these stained glass patterns...they SO need to be stitched!

Oh my goodness, that is absolutely beautiful. I think I'm in love!!
I've only ever stitched relatively small designs though. I want to make this, but I think I might be over my head!

Just take it one stitch at a time...slow and steady wins the race! There's something thrilling about watching a big project slowly come together!ScaryBurrito wrote:Oh my goodness, that is absolutely beautiful. I think I'm in love!!

When you're working on a big project, it seems like you're not getting anywhere most of the time. Until suddenly, you're seeing whole recognisable parts done! Every stitch is progress!
