Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi, everyone I want to dive back into cross stitch so I was hoping someone could help me turn this picture into a pattern.
I'd like to stitch it on 18 count linen so the size would have to be along the lines of 180 x 230 stitches with 35/40 colors max.
I realize that many details will be lost so a lot of backstitching has to be involved but I can add it after that's not a problem.

Hi guys !
So I've managed to do something that I find pretty good for the body (the backstitching of the hands and chest star can be perfectible) but I'm struggling quite a bit with the face and hair as you can see.

Do you have any idea/tips on how I could turn this to look great ?

I'm using a demo version of macstitch and i can't make it as a pattern so if one of you use this software and can post the pdf from the file i've uploaded it would be great.
