Chrono Trigger Request (from a pic)

Hi,

I've just joined this forum and am already so excited to try out some of the patterns posted. You guys are amazing! There is a project I'm hoping to do for my nephew for Christmas, but I'm having a lot of problems creating a pattern from the picture.

I have 11 count aida fabric (15" x 18" at the moment), but I'm completely willing to buy a bigger peice of fabric and/or a peice with a higher count if it means a more detailed and clearer 'image'.) No limit on the number of colours because I really want this to be a nice piece when I'm done (hence the reason I want help with a pattern).

I've attached the image I'm hoping to use. Any help would be deeply appreciated!

I think that pic is on the to-do list of a few other people so they might already have patterns made. Nice choice! I'm hoping to do a perler of that scene soon

This is actually my big big big cross stitch project that I wanted to do since joinin myself! I'm not at my own computer so i cant share the picture i have, but I would highly recommend trying to find a .png or .gif of the image at closest to the original size of the screen (aka 221x177 or something like that its been a while.) If you use .jpg images it just adds artifacts to your project and makes it look weird. But yes I have had trouble making this image into a cross stitch too, 90% of the background wont come out right for me.

When I get home from visiting my family I'll try to toss up what pattern I could scrounge up! Good Luck!

Oh wow! I didn't realize other people were working on this screenshot as well. I can understand why though- it's such a dramatic scene. One of my favorites from the game.

I would love if you could share your pattern with me, nyami, but I don't want to step on any toes if this is a project that's really dear to someone.

I can try to find a larger and higher quality image, if that helps.

I wouldnt say a larger picture, I would say something smaller actually. For my project, it's one pixel per stitch so a 1 to 1 ratio. The size picture I would use for this is like the example below. I actually had to play an emulator and screenshot the heck out of it to get the picture just right because I could not find it any where else! I'll share it here soon (Friday I fly home)
