Hi all,
I'm new to crafty anything, and I decided to start with Perler beads after finding some awesome stuff on Flickr. I'd love some Nintendo Perler patterns, if anyone can help me with them!
I've seen stuff that I can download in weird formats that I've never even heard of before, and I really prefer .jpg or .gif stuff because I'm a scared newbie, lol.
Thanks!

Re: Perler pattern requests
Hi Maggie, welcome to the forum!
To answer your question, I don't speak for all of us but most of us just work off of sprites and not set patterns like for cross-stitching. For me, all I do is find a sprite, cut and paste it into paint and magnify it to about 800% (depending on how big the sprite is), eyeball the colours and just follow the pixels. If you want to make something like a photograph into a pattern you can try PerlerPal but sometimes the colours can be a bit off and if you're only doing smaller sprites, it's probably easier just using Paint. There's a great sprite source list in the Techniques/Guides section.
Hope that helps!
