Ideas for FEB/MAR Challenge

I've been super busy at work lately, plus visiting friends, so it's completely slipped my mind to set up an ideas thread for next months challenge. Post your ideas for a challenge, stitch-a-long etc here. We may set up a poll again or I might just ask johloh to pick one as we are running on a shorter time frame than normal. The poll for the current challenge will be up Mon/Sun and will run for a week.

My ideas are:

Girl Power - female video game icons
The Secret Lives of... - character's alter egos
Caught in the act - characters doing things you wouldn't expect
Alternative "Home Sweet Home" - using characters/scenes to play on this classic cross stitch idea/slogan
The 7 Deadly Sins - representing wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, or gluttony.

me too. I haven't been keeping up with stuff either. its ok though...

I think its ok if the feb challenge starts a bit late...we can take ideas for a few days, and set up a poll...we can make it a quick poll, 48hours should be enough I think. the challenge will only end up being shortened by a day or so...

I have an idea ... nope it's gone again. ... ... ... Aha! I've got it! Since i'm not a girl how about a contest/Challenge. Ok, so here is how it goes; Girls do girl power, and boys do ... boy power. And then If the winner is a girl power project, they get to brag about it, and the same for boys.

A beat em up versus screen featuring unlikely or comedy battles...for example Sonic VS Heather from Silent Hill 3 (thanks to my sis for that pairing!) or whatever.

That or the Girl Power!!

Even though I don't get into these, I like seeing others' work, so I support Blackmageheart's versus screen idea.

(...I'm thinking Pyramid Head vs. Companion Cube!)

I have to agree with several of the ideas...
Love the idea of the VS screen, that could be so cool XD Samus v... Pikachu =P
That and stephamiem's idea of "The Secret Lives of..." could be cool, same for "The 7 Deadly Sins" idea ^^

I really like the "Girl Power" idea. Seems like there are never enough female characters in most games.

Since I've been seeing a lot of them on the boards lately, my challenge suggestion would be Bookmarks. There would have to be some decision made on how big a bookmark is, but I think it would be interesting to see the different variations people come up with for such a small project.
