JUNE Challenge - VG Animals & Animal Companions

I am rushing to get mine done. I suddenly decided just a few days ago to participate, and while I easily had enough time at first, I've been adding to it and editing the pattern while I've been stitching it and am most definitely going to have it finished (maybe) just on time. I'll have to work way into the wee hours of the morning, but can say, so far looking good and despite my rush I am enjoying this project, just wish I could have made up my mind sooner and stop changing things constantly.

I am working on one involving a half dozen mice and a cat, some of the mice are normalish looking, but I do have a few that are anthropomorphic, standing upright, and having an article or two of clothing or holding a weapon, hopefully will be okay for the challenge, if not, well it was a good motivator then.

I made it! Here's my entry for this month, a Halla from the Dragon Age series. It's acrylic on canvas, 50 cm high:


The Dalish elves are my favourite! What you can't see in the picture is that I used some silver paint in the horns, so there is a very subtle glitter in them. I was also going to make/am also making a life-size Snubbull plushie, but yeah... not going to finish it in time. I've got the body, feet and ears but the head is a bit (ok A LOT) more complicated than I thought. It will make an appearance in the unfinished challenge objects at some point, I'm sure!

Here's my first entry into a monthly challenge! For once I had some free time and was able to think of something to make - Poogie from Monster Hunter!!!

Finally got my Furball's !@#?@! cross-stitch completely completed.



Even though I could not submit the finished piece in time for end of challenge I am so happy this challenge came when it did because this turned out really good, perfect in fact, everything I envisioned it to be.
