MARCH Challenge - Crossovers!

Post by blackmageheart »

This one-month challenge is Crossovers! I'm leaving this one up to you guys - interpret it however you want to!

All crafts welcome and please feel free to submit as many entries as you like. Challenge ends March 31st so don't go too big! :D

Oo! I have a pattern I made for a previous challenge that I never got to stitch that would fit within the parameters of this one. Should be quick to stitch, too.

Here's a few entries of projects I've done in the past that fit well with the theme.

Disney Princesses: page 2 of far to many. Lol.

Unfortunately I won't be able to complete anything this month... but it is a fun theme! I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with :)

Are mash-ups and crossovers the same thing? Two different games/genres/fandoms/etc. combined into one, right?

I would say yes.

Personally, for me a mashup is more about combining elements from multiple sources into a single result, whereas a crossover is adding elements from one source to another (like having Mario show up in Green Hills Zone). We had a mashup challenge in December 2011 that might explain what I mean.
