DEC Challenge - "It's dangerous to go alone, take this"

"It's dangerous to go alone, take this."

If you were giving someone something to help them on their journey, what would it be? A torch? A sword? A radio that makes static noises whenever monsters are nearby?
This month I'd like you to make the kind of items, weapons and stuff/things that you think are invaluable to a hero/heroine on their quest! I leave it completely up to you. Any craft, any idea - all are welcome. Entries in by Dec 31st please! :D

(Also, apologies for the late start!)

I have an idea for this one that I'd like to try. I seem to be having the same problem as everyone else... finding the time! But I'm going to try! :)

Hmm.....the only way I'm going to even come close to finishing this is if I incorporate it into an xmas gift. Soooo many to make this year. Think, Nikki, think!
