The zelda perlers are magnetized on the back, which i love because i love me some magnets, lol. the gold bits are Pokemon badge necklace pendants. i do not have a chain for them, yet. i might even make them into key chains. either way, they are fabulous!! thank you so much, johloh.

And @stitchingmama - glad to hear you like your gift! I learned a lot from the gift I made for last year's mini swap, so it was fairly easy to make (for example - no blisters!)

I got my swap gift this week. I'm not sure exactly who sent it, other than the name from the return address, Michelle from Canada. She sent me a Chrono Trigger bookmark, a little heart stitching and a pretty blue bracelet.

Yay!!!!! I was starting to get worried it wasn't going to make it that far across the world and I'm really glad that you like everything. I actually tried to carve the top of the box using some wood carving knives, but my carving skills aren't quite as good as some of my other skills...

Also, I can't remember if I said it in the letter or not, but I was actually in the Auburn Marching Band from 2000 - 2003, and now I'm the webmaster/second videographer for them and get to go to the games and travel with them a lot. We just got back from the National Championship game in Pasadena, California yesterday! So not only will you hopefully really enjoy the band's awesome musical talent, but you can know that they are a very special group to me.

Oh, and are you saying you have a January birthday as well? Mine is on the 26th, and my wife's is on the 20th, so people with January birthdays are obviously pretty darn cool!

Australia Post are really quite shocking, and our border laws are incredibly stringent! I'm sure you're gift was here for ages before it got to me!

I don't think you mentioned that you're so involved with the marching band. Pretty cool that you can travel with them like that though And yes, my birthday is on the 17th!
