celebriwen- I'm so glad it FINALLY made it ... of course the first package got returned to me this week.... almost 4 months after it was sent out (yay, US postal system!)... so you'll be getting some stitched goodies for Valentine's Day

Well that was an ordeal, wasn't it? I'm glad that at least we know what happened to the first parcel. I'm also very sorry that this happened, it really sucks when stuff goes missing. Thank you celebriwen for being extremely patient, and thank you sammie_dd for being extremely persistent!

These beautiful gifts are from Ally!

I am so so so so so so so sorry to Ally that it took me so long to post these, but I love them. Partially why it took so long is because I'm already using them! I had to take the DS out of the amazing AC case (I get compliments on it at school all the time!), take the keychains down from my corkboard, and remove the kangaroo keychain from my collection of tiny stuffed animals. Half a sheet of stickers have already been used. I work with little kids and one of them made bath salts for their friends and family. We stored the salts in Mexican soda bottles. She put a koala sticker over both the "colas" on her Coke bottle so it said "Coke Koala".

This reminds me of a puzzle...

It arrived this week and it's awesome and I love it and I have no idea who sent it, but it's amazing!

The skin colour on Layton and the cream on the logo are stitched with essentially half stitches, with the top stitch to the bottom left, with the clothes being stitched in classic cross stitch with the top stitch to the bottom right (I think, the stitching is super neat!) It really makes Layton's clothes and the logo pop! creating a really nice contrast and really making it look like a 3D image.

This reminds me of a puzzle...
