JAN-FEB Challenge - "Exquisite Corpse"

I really thought I'd have enough time to make sometimes really nice but work + flu = time flying by really really fast.

So I did what I could.

Btw, I think you guys did an awesome job with your clues (I love the one with Professor Layton!)

This is the clue I got : Oh no, a tree! I've to go back and choose another way!

Pokemon immediately popped into my mind but I thought it was too easy, so I tried to find other video games with trees blocking the way.
My boyfriend was playing Katamari Damacy and he was getting really angry at his katamari because he kept bumping into everything.

I'm not really proud of how it turned up but it's the first time I tried to create something. It wasn't very easy! I'll do better next time!

I started and finished mine today... I still have no idea which game the clue refers to.

Clue: Starry hero, helped and hindered by crystals.

So, i tackle the first part "starry hero" and the result is:

I'm not proud of my project because of the background, too purple!!!
Can you guess which game my stitch refers to? And please solve the clue... is driving me nuts!

Great entries so far! I think I finally decided what to do for mine, and I'm going to try to get it done tonight, and posted tomorrow. If I don't get to it tonight, I hope to by the weekend!

I think I just figured out the game this is supposed to be "The Legendary Starfy" - I only got about halfway through one game though, so maybe not... but there was something about crystals in it!

I know what this is, the person told me but I would have known anyway - been playing it a lot recently!
Reading the ideas of what it is makes me giggle. It's funny how different people read different things in the clues!

here's my submission:

the sentence i got was 'buckets and road cones and butter galore'

so this is what I came up with:



It's a magnet stitched on plastic canvas =) I had originally intended for there to be 3 of them, one head for each head adornment >.> but I won't have time this month to finish more than this one. However, the pattern I made includes all 3 of them. If anyone's interested, here it is:

Also, is it ok to reveal my sentence now that both I and the person who got mine have finished our projects? :o I love the project they did although it wasn't the game I was thinking of (but it was close!) and wanted to show them which game I was thinking of and why I thought of it that way, lol.
