Re: Charity Quilt(s) 2013
Well I don't have a pic right now, but I started the 4th square at around 1 am Saturday morning and have been working on it throughout the afternoon and well into the early morning hours since then, and have almost finished the bottom 28 rows of the pattern (my printer prints the pattern on 5 pages total the way that I print it, and the last 2 sheets are the bottom 28 rows). I am going to be working hard to get this finished by Thurday the 1st (I am mailing the finished squares on the 2nd).

Re: Charity Quilt(s) 2013
So I just realized I might not get done with my square in time. I thought I had until September 1st but it turns out since I'm in America I don't. I'm working really hard to get it done though! The sweet thing is when I told my boyfriend about it, he was like, "Well take the magnet you made me (it's Apollo from Animal Crossing) and I'll sew a piece of fabric and we'll stick it in the middle and we can send that in!" I was like oh hun it doesn't work that way lol. I just thought it was so sweet because he loves that magnet sooooooooooooooo much.

Yeah...once again, I will not be completing a square for this year's quilt. I have just lost all desire to stitch. I've tried to complete my Snake, Rattle 'n Roll square, but I get 5 stitches in and I'm done. I don't know what's up, but at least I've got a head start on next year that I can finish as soon as I break my "crafter's block." Haha. Sorry I can never seem to get this done...just hasn't worked out for me these past few years with the quilts

If I stitch like a mad thing, I might get mine done. I've been having a crafting lazy spell. It's been driving me crazy (the lazy spell)!

That means I have to have it in the mail by August 9th to ensure arrival in Canada from the US by September 1st, right? (Do you get the post on Sundays in Canada?)tnitnetny wrote:Check the first post. I must receive it at the US address by Aug 1, or the Canadian address by Sept 1. We don't even have mail on Saturdays in Canada, so nevermind Sundays. You could always send it through express mail, I'm guessing it's costly in the U.S. too though.

Re: Charity Quilt(s) 2013
Double posting, sorry! >_<
I guess I'm gonna be another party pooper and join the club of "I can't finish my square on time"... Due to other projects and the ridiculous long move to my house (and other issues), I started my square way too late... And now, with my insanely slow stitching speed, to finish I would need to stitch at least 3-4 hours per day for the next 4 weeks and I don't really have that kind of time. On top of that (which pretty much killed it for me), I've been sick for 1 week now, and the medication the doctor gave me for my condition is actually making me feel worst... So I'm not really in a mood nor a state to stitch... :/
My sincere appologies. If there's something I hate is to give my word and not stay true to it... I will make 100% certain to complete it for next year and hopefully make a second square as well!!
