Re: Stitching for Charity! (brainstorming)
I sent her a message on the 19th and still haven't heard anything back. If we don't hear from her, I guess we fill in the square with the title of the game and that is it? I have another week before I need you to make the certificate. The quilt will be mailed out Oct 3.

I'm ready for the Word doc anytime, send it to miragedance@hotmail.com
I also messaged shanoa, hopefully she will log in and read it shortly so we can get this thing underway.
While I'm here, anyone got any suggestions for the certificate?

OK so while I was waiting around I had a little playtime in Photoshop and came up with this:
It's just a preview, the actual thing will be a bigger resolution / dpi.
Any good?

Re: Stitching for Charity! (brainstorming)
It looks a bit plain... And not very official...
How about something more like this: I just threw it together in two minutes, so its bad quality, but its more interesting, looks a bit more like an authenticity sheet...
Also, on yours I think the lettering is a bit too small, there's a large amount of space not used.
Also, seeing as everyone else has put there name, it would be unsporting of me not to. So could you add "Rhys Turton" to mine? Thanks

I actually felt like that myself. I was just waiting for someone else to say it incase I was just paranoid, lol.Lord Libidan wrote:It looks a bit plain... And not very official...
And I was going to put some really low opacity icons in the background, but it was starting to make the text unreadable. I will try again, though.
I would also add that the actual .psd I have here is a LOT bigger than the preview I uploaded. It's set to A4 paper size with a decent dpi and the text *should* look better on paper.
Aha, this took me ten! And half of that was drinking teaLord Libidan wrote:I just threw it together in two minutes

And I will add your name, too.
Thanks for the help, brb with v2!

It looks great! Although I think I would put a box around the names, and not leave it open.
Did that make any sense?

EDIT: Just thought...maybe I'll resize the Sprite Stitch heart in the background, it looks kinda wonky. I'll leave that for now as I'm still waiting on a reply from shanoa about her details XD
