Re: Stitching for Charity 2014
I'll be able to do this this year! My unfished square from last year is still sitting around, and if I can't finish it in time again, there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with me

Re: Stitching for Charity 2014
So I signed up for TMNT and Ghostbusters II, and these are the screenshots I'm thinking about making patterns from. I'm not sure if they have been used in previous years, so let me know if I need to go with something different.
TMNT
Ghostbusters II (one of the following two)
I've already cut the TMNT one down to size and have begun working on a pattern, but not the ghostbusters one.
*EDIT - Ok, I was a big boy and went through the images of the old quilts and did not see any of these scenes, so I will plan on going with the one I chose from TMNT and probably the first Ghostbusters with Vigo if I can make it work out like I want it to.

Re: Stitching for Charity 2014
This is going to be so much fun! I am probably just going to stick to one square but I might have to make it a second time for myself. I will go on a shopping trip for thread soon.
P.S. I don't think Ridley looks like this in any other games. If I learn that he does then I'll make sure to use a pic with him holding the kidnapped baby metroid
[Edit]
Woo! Apparently this is distinctly Super Metroid's version of Ridley
I am in the clear!

Re: Stitching for Charity 2014
I've had to give up on my idea for ACNL - there's no sprite rips of the wildlife that I could find... and there's an epic amount of pixellyness (totally a word) in the pic I got off the game. So short of colouring itsquare by square, I've decided to go and change my first square to this:
I still want to do something along the lines of what the ACNL idea was, but it looks like it'll have to be from Wild World if i'm going to do it without buying all 400+ colours.
it's from a cutscene of one of the very first missions of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky.I still want to do something along the lines of what the ACNL idea was, but it looks like it'll have to be from Wild World if i'm going to do it without buying all 400+ colours.

Working on:
Retro X & Y! - lost the pattern and fabric, but it's resurfaced
...and i've lost it again lol
Attempting Diamond Painting
Making like three crochet blankets at once #nolife
slowly amassing floss for the old-style Epic Pokemon

I'm hoping I can find 16 count in time. All I seem to find down here is 14 or 18.

Re: Stitching for Charity 2014
You generally don't find 16 count in the major craft stores, at least not in the US. If you don't have a FLCS, you're probably going to have to order it online.
Mostly hibernating here. Find me on Twitter @rmdcade.

I think Michaels is based in the US. I was able to find 16ct fabric at a Michaels in Canada. Maybe check them? (just one more option before buying online)
