Everyone's stuff looks so great! I'm only signed up for one project but I had a sort of needlepoint burnout a couple of months ago. Just couldn't get into any of my projects. But today I look at all the amazing finished squares and see all the ones to come and I feel reinvigorated! (Is that a word?) I'm going to get cracking on my Double Dragon square as soon as I get home from work.

Glad they got there safe and sound. And thanks for the comment about her dress. I'm glad I went with a different color. :)

I know I'm way behind everyone else but am I too late to sign up if I want to participate? I was thinking of doing a pattern from Duck Tales and if I have enough time before the deadline I'd also like to do one from Wizards and Warriors.

As long as you can finish before the deadline, it's never too late to sign up! :) Love your square ideas.

Thank you so much! This will be my first time participating so I wasn't sure if there was a cutoff time for signups. I'm going to pick up some Aida today because I'm anxious to dive right in.

I've been playing my old NES games like a madwoman lately so those particular games seemed like natural choices :D

Hrm, I don't think I'm going to be able to get my second square done by August 1 so would it be alright to start it now for next year? It's not a super popular game so I don't think someone else nabbing it is going to be an issue.

You can start it, but you must sign up for it on next years list so no one else makes a square from that game. Leave it on this years with a note that it is for next years quilt.
