Charity Quilt(s) 2013

Been working on my SMB2 square, and I'm doubting my color choices. I've already changed the red and brown I was going to use, but now I'm concerned about the other colors. Right now I'm doubting the brown and pink I used for Peach and the sky color I thought looked a bit off (haven't stitched it yet, but was just looking). Could someone possibly take a look at it and give me their opinion?

They look fine to me; for the sky, 996 is what I used on my duck hunt square. Just be sure to buy enough to do the whole sky so you don't get stuck with a different dye lot (like happened to me). I'd get 2-3 skeins to be safe.

I agree with Funkymonkey. I think your pattern looks fine. I do think the pink for Peach's dress is a wee bit bright but it looks fine. I think once it's finished it will be great.

Finally finished a few projects so I can start on my quilt piece.

Aw man! My reward for myself after sending out the last of my wedding invitations was supposed to be starting my square...I finally finished up this morning. I get out all my floss, my pattern, etc. Last thing I do before I get started is measure my aida...I measure four times. SEVEN INCHES! I'm so confused and angry. I bought 16 count aida, I'm not sure what is wrong!

@gamerwolff: The colors are great. What was the main color you used for Peach's dress? I'm thinking I'm probably going to redo Peach's dress on mine. Not happy with the color.
