The back stitching is only used where the colors weren't really very different so as to enhance them...also I don't have enough black to line the whole thing, so I only did the parts I thought were important. The pattern was originally going to be for the palette swap, but I didn't think it matched well enough
Edit: just to give an idea of how little he is, James and the radio together are only as tall as a bobbin.

Awesome!!
I had that idea too, I was thinking either the radio from Silent Hill or a good old beretta in Resident Evil! XD
Silent Hill is one of those games I can't play in the dark or without somebody sitting next to me... It's just too gross... Pyramid head... *shudders*
Current projects :
Out of commission after surgery until May.
Currently playing : Speed runs of Biohazard HD Remaster
I originally wasn't going to stitch anything for this challenge because I didn't think I'd have the time for it, but figured what the hell, I'll just have to stitch a lot! So I got started on my entry this afternoon. I kept to the classic sword theme from The Legend of Zelda but made it much bigger and with more choices, hopefully it'll turn out as great as I think it'll be. Being as how grand it is (pattern is running me approximately 16"x12" in size), and also another composition like I had done with my last cross-stitch, I may not be able to have the whole thing done in time, but can get the important parts done, enter it and then finish it up after.

Silent Hill is by far one of my favorite video game series'! I love how creepy it is and I think it's made all the more creepy by the fact that you're in control of the character, so instead of a movie where it's all linear and you're just along for THEIR ride, you get to be the one to decide to go through that creepy door
Sorry, I love Silent Hill lol
Current Projects:
Joan Elliot Geisha
Mega Peacock (page 3 of 40)
Sophie's Universe
I couldn't think of anything to do for this, so I just came up with something that made me laugh. If our world and zeldas world were the same, forget battling wizards and all that, just go on Craigslist man. so here's my badly photographed entry
I like what I'm seeing so far, very amusingly cute.
I keep changing mine and expanding on it. Will not be even close to finishing by the end of the month, glad to hear we get an extra week. I started way too late and think too big. I would have just revealed what I did do by the 31st even though incomplete, but I think I'll wait until I'm totally finished with it. As it is, I'm very fickled with how I want the background to be, that's where my mom's opinions are valued, because if she don't like something about it she'll tell me. I think when I'm done I'll show all the various stages the project went through, quite a bit I tell you.
