I have another question for you all. What's more important? That the square we stitch is 6"x6", or that it is 96x96 stitches? I used pic2pat to turn a Spyro screenshot into a pattern, but when I asked for a 6"x6" square on 16ct aida, it gave me a 94x94 stitch pattern. :/
Now, the fabric I bought is actually a little biggish, so 94x94 stitches comes out to about 5 15/16 of an inch. Were I to stitch an extra row along the bottom and the left side, it would be a little over 6"x6".
My question is: should I just stitch the pattern as is and have it sit juuuuuust under 6"x6"? Or should I stitch an extra row along the bottom and one side so it can completely fill the square? OR, should I ditch it and make a new pattern that is actually 96x96 stitches?
[EDIT: I discovered that this question has been asked a couple times already. I believe my solution should be to add a 1px border around the entire piece, bringing it to 96x96 stitches. Is that right?]

Yes, that's right. It should be fine measurement-wise once done. Don't forget that it will be washed etc before going in to the quilt, and Toni knows what she's doing
