Funky--

Bahaha! I have a love/hate relationship with large areas like that. No though and counting? Good! Utter boredom? Bad!

Your square looks awesome! Great color selection!

That looks awesome Funky!

On a side note, what is that you're using to keep your canvas tight? I use hoops and it's a pain sometimes to move them around since the biggest hoop I have is just a little too small for a 96x96 square.

Thanks, everybody! It's an 11-inch Q-snap frame, http://www.amazon.com/Q-Snap-SF11-Lap-F ... 00013MV30/

I only get a few hours a week to stitch so my progress is slow, but here's a WIP shot of my Joust square :)

Everybody's pieces are coming along nicely! I keep bugging my daughter (who was SOOOOOOO anxious to start) to actually start her piece. I want to get it graphed out for her since it's imparitive that stay 96x96 so I wanted to give her something to help her out and that way she can start at the top left corner or whatever, but she's being a lazy bones and making excuses now. I have a sinking feeling I'm going to be stitching up her Vanellope square instead. -.-

I'm waiting on finishing up my Portrait for the challenge before I start mine so expect some WIPs from me in the next few months. lol

I need a bit of encouragement, though - does that look ok, or is it too blurry/too far reduced in detail? If this isn't good enough, I might need a bit of help improving it! I don't want to buy materials until I'm sure the pattern is ok

Ah good choice! Can't wait to see it completed! :good:
