Great entries, love em.

Gonna give the last few some extra time, because I'm such a generous Mage.
Got until the end of Friday to post your work and guess, finished or unfinished! :D

My clue was "A spicy space tale," so I went with the main character from the Dune game.

Since all the screenshots were so big, I decided to make my piece 96x96, to go into the charity quilt. :D
So you've got my clue Lunariah !!! ImageImageImage
I couldn't wait to see who will have it ;
And you guessed the game too, congratulations !
I love so much what you did with it... Not finished yet, but it's such a big piece ! Great job !!

Thank you, because I had zero time to sit down last night and put mine together. I've got a sort of "pattern" but no craft. If push comes to shove, I may just post the image I made of it.
Current Projects: Crocheting stuff, writing letters, cross stitching stuff oh, and making beer!

This is AWSOME. Completely love this.
The clue was spot on and the image you chose just took me back years to playing this, when you had to open it through DOS!
And I think it is brilliant that you are putting it in for the quilt!
Superb x

Ok, so my clue was

I'm running around and collecting things that look nothing like me.

and my first thought was Pokemon, but I didn't want to try to be obvious so I came up with a great idea, and fully intended on modifying and existing pattern and stitching it up. Then I couldn't get the pattern to come out good enough.

So I thought I would try a pixel painting, since that's one craft I have yet to try. That's when I got busy, and just never had time to sit down and get it done.

So here is my "not even started" craft for this challenge.

I promise next time I'll actually make myself get started, and hopefully even finish...

Well, that said absolutely jack to me. My family seems to think it's Skyward Sword, though none of us have played it. But then, who said I have to get it right?
Your family was correct, but I really like how you interpreted it!

Just goes to show how creative everyone here is.

kuja.girl got my clue, which was 'Do we have a deal?'

The phrase 'Do we have a deal?' (as I was thinking of it, lol) comes from Final Fantasy X, and is a part of getting the aeon Yojimbo. I happened to be playing FFX at the time of trying to figure out a sentence for the challenge and figured I'd just run with it, lol.

This is basically how it goes (not really any storyline spoilers in this section of the video so it should be ok if you haven't played):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... eEo#t=494s

Alright so, to get Yojimbo basically you had to haggle with him. I, being broke at the time but needing Yojimbo to pwn things for me, haggled him from 250k gil down to about 165-170k in the end I believe (on my first playthrough back in the day - admittedly this round I wasn't as poor with my money, lol) but this took an incredible. amount. of. haggling.
To get him haggled down this far was to literally hear the phrase 'Do we have a deal?' over and over and over and over.

I can no longer think of that game without that phrase being the first thing that pops into my head >.> but I love FFX and Yojimbo was my favorite (Also, Zanmato.) so it was totally worth it in the end.

this http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=en ... P6rE2yS_fA is Zanmato, Yojimbo's overdrive (it's not really an overdrive as he doesn't go into overdrive like the rest of the aeons do, but you get the picture) and that monster has 10 million health (the hardest in the game if I remember right) so yeah >.> you can see why I was so adamant to have him (for teh cheaps tho cuz 10 years ago star was cheap as hell apparently, lol).

Pretty much saved all my gil for Nemesis anyway, lol. By that point in the game there's not much left to spend your gil on. He's not a storyline mob at all so he's kind of the last extra extra extra thing you do <.<;

So, that's my story ;D

Definitely love your interpretation of it, and it wasn't really that far off when you think about it. Same universe even XD - Also, I now require a malboro magnet so thanks for that XD

Guessing you don't have the PAL / International version of the game - with Penance, definitely one of the most challenging bosses I ever fought in a game. Had to keep pausing to re-fill my tea cup! CAN NOT PLAY WITHOUT TEA :P

Great tale about your clue, though! :D

To everyone- sorry I haven't put the vote up yet, been a little unwell after my trip to the torture chamber I mean dentist. Will put it up tomorrow (Sunday) so if anyone wants to sneak an entry in it will count :D
