I don't know which is best for the quilt but the one with the frozen dragon is the one that makes me happiest.

I would beg to differ! Rendered 3D images are my fortecrayolafish wrote:Then I looked for something from a GBA game, because I figured an image from a game with rendered 3D images doesn't lend itself very well to cross-stitching.

This I would agree with, but it isn't impossible!crayolafish wrote:Maybe because it's somewhat difficult to get a good, stitchable screenshot from the PlayStation games.
Out of your images there, I think either the balloon one, or the frozen dragon.

Re: Charity Quilt(s) 2013
Due to last year's postal mishap, my two blocks are already stitched and sent
Here's a reminder picture of both: I've added them to the spreadsheet and highlighted them in yellow, since they're both complete. I'm not signing up for a third square yet, because it's still extremely dark in Finland (even in daytime) and cross-stitching is a pain for the eyes, so I've resorted to knitting for now. As soon as the days grow longer (or I get better lighting
), I'll choose another game and start stitching it. I have so many ideas that it shouldn't really be a problem.

I really want to join in this year as i watched last years quilts come together and they looked amazing!
Only problem i'm having is making my picture into a decent looking pattern
Would anyone be able to help me?

So I talked to the organizer of Magfest and they would love if we had a charity quilt for their auction. I hope we have enough squares for 3 quilts so we can donate one.

How many colours do you want max? Also, what format would you like? (KG, PCStitch, PDF)MidoriTenshi wrote:I really want to join in this year as i watched last years quilts come together and they looked amazing!

Here's one with 70 colours (I haven't edited the pattern, so some colours may need to be double checked) in KGChart. Hope it's ok!
