Depending which win, I was thinking of something like that too
For Cuccos attack, green seems to be the obvious choice, but I don't wang Link to get "hidden." The other thought was to use "oatmeal," which is an off-white speckled with brown. Hmm...decisions decisions...

Edit: Forgot Link is outlined in black. Green cloth wins. I think it'll make the cuccos "pop" more.

In case anyone is interested, I just did a color comparison to blackberrybear's pattern and here are the DMC floss colors I will be using:
original>my suggestion
310>310
3722>3733
156>156
BLANC>BLANC
976>3341
830>3773
469>730
470>581
3607>603
3853>971
934>939 (truthfully, though, I may just use 310)
3839>156
975>976
701>701
869>801
3851>912
444>3855
817>666

These are merely my suggestions based on my thread to pattern color comparisons and what I will be using.

I'm going with an oatmeal, heh

For the cuccos, are they purple or grey? I've been googling and sprite-googling, and it seems evenly split...

The shading color of 156 is somewhere between purple and grey, so both? Lol

Heh, right, but since I don't have that color, I'm wondering if I should go to the purple or grey side for accuracy. Goal is not to buy anything (*cough* else) for this project

I made up some cuccos a while back and they were slightly on the purple side. When I get to my computer I'll dig out the pattern I used and compare it to the lists above!
