November 30th would be my guess. You've got the rest of October and all of November.DuckyBelkins wrote:When's the actual deadline for this? The end of this month is flooded with homework, papers, test, and surgery, I don't think I'm gonna finish by the end of this month for sure.

That's the crest motif in glow thread, right? It's awesome!

It looks really really good! I just got into UV resin and I have a uv light I'm going to try and see if it will glow under that...maybe I can get some better pics of mine. I would also try a black light....maybe the glow thread will show up under that too?

Re: OCT - NOV Challenge - Glow in the Dark!
My brother and I had some fun ages ago holding various light effects threads under a uv light - if I remember right the fluorescent effects worked best but I think the glow thread did show up a bit too. Definitely worth a try though!gamerwolff wrote:I would also try a black light....maybe the glow thread will show up under that too?

I have a pattern that would be well suited to the flourescent colors! I think I shall have to stitch it now and go get a cheap black light.... by the way there is a cheap blacklight at Wal-Mart in the lighting section... I think its a 27 inch one for only 15 bucks just so you guys know.

Re: OCT - NOV Challenge - Glow in the Dark!
I've gotten pretty sick lately, landed a job interview I need to prepare for and am still working and in school so my entry is... still a work in progress.
Since we have til the end of Nov. I'm hoping I'll be able to finish but if not I am really enjoying seeing what everyone is doing with this.
Black lights - fluorescents will work the best, white will also light up. Remember not to sit under these for longer than a few minutes as they put out UV light and can cause sunburns.
