Glow challenge, absolutely! I like that you said not just using glow materials, but that what glows is something hidden.

I could handle a glow challenge - though I wonder if we ought to push that out to a different month to give people a chance to purchase / work with glow thread first?

I love the idea of glow in the dark, but I would also need time to find glow in the dark fabrics.
Ooooo I could make a Halloween based quilt with glow fabric!

Re: AUG Challenge - Theme?
I like the glow idea but i think since so many of us ar going to be pushed for time it might be better as a sept or oct challenge. I especially like the idea of it being in oct since we can also incorporate halloween into the challenge as well.
But for this month I like the idea of the one game for everyone if I stay on track with my cp squares I might even be able to put in something small!

Re: AUG Challenge - Theme?
Let's do glow in the dark/Halloween for September and October? I would love that and it would give all of us plenty of time.
As for August, I am good with all of the ideas, but I don't think I can participate unfortunately. I have a LOT of sewing to do to get ready for my next convention.

Re: AUG Challenge - Theme?
Glow stitch for Halloween most definitely!
For August, mini stuffies or the one game challenge. I lean towards the one game challenge because my crocheting skills aren't that great... BUT I want to see what everyone else would make
I would also like to through in an idea for a longer challenge period-- Biscournus!

The "One game challenge" sounds great! I also love the idea of a portrait, the glow one too! I can't choose!

I like this idea, too. As I just made my first biscornu for the big swap, I rather like the idea of giving it another go. Maybe I'll try one of the 10 panel ones for a challengejadely wrote:I would also like to through in an idea for a longer challenge period-- Biscournus!

The one game idea sounds interesting...and reusable!
We'd better hurry and pick one though...I'm already getting ideas for a glow challenge!
