JAN - FEB Challenge! Romance!!

Most have seen this already but I thought there should be something posted for the February challenge. It's too cute not to post it here. I gave it away to some friends of mine who are newly married and they LOVE it. They actually argued over where to hang it.

I made this for my friend's birthday. Thought it seemed appropriate. Now to finish my original idea.

I finally came up with my idea last week. I've been busy stitching all week and weekend. It's not a very big project but I enjoy the more simple things in life.

Ok, here is my submission, I don't expect to be in the running at all, but it is a nice V-day gift for my boyfriend. I took the pattern Johloh posted on the blog a few months ago and combined both the link and the zelda into the same piece, instead of 2 pieces.





I love the framing job Michael's did. I got it double matted and with the 50% sale it was $70 for the frame.
