Sprite Stitch Board!

Inspired by the most recent Retronauts podcast I spent last night and this morning putting the finishing touches on a set of needlepoints that I did not end up using as Christmas presents (and thus set aside). With only moments to spare before I had to leave for the afternoon I snapped a few photos and uploaded them, and thus haven't had the time to write an accompanying post. I'm so pleased with the results that I wanted to post a sneak peek:

He's on the "Banana flavor" background. In EarthBound the game asks you to pick a flavor for the text boxes. The choices are: Plain, Banana, Strawberry, Peanut, and Mint. I spent last night messing around with the photos and getting the floss lists in order so I didn't actually get the rest of them up yet.

(Hmmm... while I like the idea of these attachments, the presentation is a little off for larger images.)

I think they all look really great. I like that the backgrounds correspond to the game, it's a nice touch.

great work i love the framing too- it looks so professional, and the plain wood frames make the stitches reallllly pop

Ha! Those are the dirt cheap frames from IKEA. I'm glad you like them though. I wasn't too sure about them when I bought them (they look very cheap on the back). They're growing on me.
