Hello everyone, I'm back on SpriteStitch! It's been a while!

My most recent project (well it's already been a few months since I started it) is the name of the Doctor in Gallifreyan!!!

This is going to end up quite big (about 1.70m long!) et I plan to cut all the white parts to only leave the stitched circles and fix it on the wall above my couch :)

I didn't even try to count how many pages I still have to do, I think it will be another year before it's completed.

that is such an amazing idea! and if people don't know what it means, it still looks like really cool art for your living room! it looks like you're stitching on small pieces and attaching them - can i ask how?

Sure!
I'm using "carton perforé" (I don't really know how it's called in English, perforated cardboard? perforated paper?)
I don't think its primary use is cross-stitching though.
It looks like this :

I work on one piece at a time and when its completed, I stitch it on the main piece.
Here is how my pattern looks like :

Yeah, lilac paper was not the best of ideas.

When I take a new piece, I leave a line that will be used to stich the old piece with the new one. And I make sure that the two pieces don't overlap on each other.

You have to look very closely to see where I stitched the sheets together :) Here is a close-up.

Very cool! I am doing something similar with my large pokemon project, but haven't tested it on anything larger than scraps - so its great to see how well it turns out. Also, my boyfriend saw the project and wants me to make him one.

Very nice! And that's an awesome idea. I may have to use it sometime. I'll be interested to see it when it's all done.

I am wondering though, how many skeins of black have you used yet? It looks really awesome!

That looks fabulous- the design, the matching lines, everything. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

About 15 to this date I think.
Although I recently ordered 30 more, just to be sure. And I have the feeling I will use all of them!
