A Trainer and his Pokémon - Opinion Needed
Hello fellow Sprite Stitchers! I am in need of your opinion. I have come up with a unique pattern idea that is already in production. Let me describe it. I call it, A Trainer and his Pokemon. These patterns will show the main character/trainer from a Pokemon game with his starter Pokemon, or a Pokemon of his choice. Below I have developed the following:
A Trainer and his Bulbasaur
A Trainer and his Charmander
A Trainer and his Squirtle
A Trainer and his Pikachu
I would very much like to know of your opinion of these patterns. Please leave your comments below. I will also be stitching one of these personally so everyone can see the final result.

I do love the ungainly sprites of the original games.
I'd totally stitch Stout Pikachu with her eight-year-old trainer on a hat.

They're fine. On the Bulbasaur one it looks like the background isn't between its back legs. It goes all white there.
Of course I'm particular to the later games where they added in a girl trainer.

Well, I can always create ones from the later games. You mean fire red and leaf green, and ruby, sapphire, and emerald? And RMDC, you'd stitch the pikachu one on a hat, or did you mean something else by that?

I mean I would stitch, onto a hat, the square containing Pikachu and her trainer.
Though I, too, prefer Leaf to Red... on the other hand, by the time RSE / FRLG came out, the sprites had lost their awkwardness and had gotten much more polished, which means fewer ironic cool points.

I really like the Squirtle one, but they're all great.

they all look cute! it's a great idea.
I would suggest moving bulbasaur slightly to the right to balance out the picture some. His face gets a little lost behind the trainer.
but they're fun. I hope they turn out great! =D

Thanks. I think I will alter them, and post the new pictures tomorrow. Though I think I'll redo them in different games too, to make a girl one too.

Here are the ones for Crystal, and Fire Red and Leaf Green. Patterns are in production and opinions are desired.

I certainly prefer these ones, but then I didn't come to pokemon until these later games
