Mario Nursery Pic

A friend has asked me to make a Mario picture for his son's nursery. He wanted on with all of Mario's power-ups. I think I got them all, excluded ones from the 3d games. The difference between this and my other projects is that I've hand-picked every colour this time, rather than let one of the programs choose them for me. At the moment, I'm just trying to get the background done.

I wasn't happy with the colours that the programs were picking out for me. PC Stitch was mixing colours together, and KG Chart was making them too dark.

Love it! I'm working on a game-based nursery painting that includes some Mario stuff, but this is so cute! I can't wait to see this pattern done

Started on the hill in the background now. Not sure how much I'll be able to do with the thread I've got, as I've changed the colour I was going to use to a lighter one. Depends if I use it all up before my next day off work.
