I would paint it a darker color to draw attention to the dragons inside. Black would be the norm, but depending on your decorating scheme, like a mocha stain would look nice too.

I agree with the black or possibly a dark stain (like walnut or ebony). If you go with the black, you could scratch some of it off with sandpaper, so it gives it that worn look, which would go well with it. If you went with a stain, you would be able to see the grain of the wood, which would also be nice.

I'd hardly call it poorly made! It sure beats what I can find at Michaels. I think the one mar gives it character (seriously; I like it better with than I would without), and I had to look for three passes to see the misalignment in the upper right.

Thanks guys! I shall paint it....cover up all the imperfections! ;)

Also...here is a Harley I made...currently working on a Joker for her too! :)

My canvass has arrived so I can properly work on the challenge...so that will be my next task after Joker is finished! :)

Really I'm hoping I'm not too late to comment on the frame for the dragons...

Any chance of doing a burned wood finish? It seems like that would be awesome given the subject matter.

Youre not too late...and I agree...will look like the dragon has burnt it! Good call! Ill see what i can do! ;)

Hi, just me again...damn easter holidays making me procrastinate! >.<

Im currently working on a Ghastly, Haunter, Gengar piece...and Ive arranged them in a way where I can have writing...now, what to write I do not know...what do people think? I best one so far is "I aint afraid of no ghost" but im not so sure >.<
