Ally- I use PC stitch but you could certainly use kg chart too. I usually create the sprites I think I might want to use first and then play around with the layout until I am happy with how it looks. I usually try to have each line or "band" in the sampler made up of related sprites.

This sampler is beautiful! Ive never made one before, but it looks like you r and expert. Have you considered making a big nintendo themed one? With each band representing a different game? Just a thought. The nintendo logi would look sweet in the middle and it would be an awesome pattern

Thanks for the suggestion! I have thought about doing a nintendo themed one kind of like the my arcade one (and just like you suggest

) with a different game for each line. I was thinking a different sampler for each system (NES, SNES....). I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I have also thought about samplers for other systems/games/series..... final fantasy, kirby, atari..... it is just a matter of having time

Kirby would be awesome! And i agree, i feel like i have so many ideas; there just isnt enough time to stitch them all!
