Just as an update I have started on this project. I bought the fabric and cut out some squares and realized that making perfect squares is tough so I'm going to try and find someone who can help me with that bit.

But here is the first square I did for basically a proof of concept, since I'd never used the waste canvas before, as well as the start of square 2/150

Project underway! Long way to go, but it begins with a single stitch. I know nothing about quilting, so can't offer advice, but looking forward to seeing this progress.
