Took out an old friend today! Finished the stripe down the right side, and joined it with the horizontal stripe. (sigh of relief when the pattern lines up! :wiz )

This is beautiful! I may have to try the pattern out myself, although it has also inspired me to make something related to classic KidPix. Hmmm . . .

Can't wait to see it finished!!! :yahoo:

Hey, I remember reading about this the first time you posted it! How are you doing with it?

Heh, unfortunately haven't made progress recently; it's sitting in a box. Just saw your question; sorry to bump the thread with no update. I've had two ungodly huge crochet blankets in the past couple years, and i was working on super mario map stitches in between those. Oh, and I had a baby. ^_^ I should pull this one back out though; progress feels quick compared to cross stitch. Thanks for the mental bump :)

Update! Pulled this guy out the other day when I said I would, and got it mounted on my good frame. Finished out the bottom right corner; a little spot left in the middle of the bottom border, then only the left side left! (Only.. ha. Still a long way to go.)
