I was working with beads, but it was getting too much for me with the ironing etc etc etc so i turned to the needle
So my first piece is for a very good friend of mine

Mysterious Cities of Gold
This is a cross stitch created for me by my girlfriend!
It took her almost two years with about 40,000 stitches ( i think), she kept moaning at how many colors she had to use which was way over 200 and she complained about stitching 1 stitch colors (so 1 color 1 stitch and cutting).
Finished size 25.00" x 11.56"
It now sits proud on the wall in the bedroom!
What do you guys think?
