Need Ideas/Help With My First Cosplay

Post by MeiTow »

So, at the end of June I will debuting my first cosplay at Popcon in Indy. I am going to dress up like Wakko Warner from Animaniacs. Now, my problem is the best way to make the tail and ears. So what do you guys think? I've thought wire with furish fabric draped over it or cardboard with fur or getting some plush-like fabric and making a pattern and stuffing it, or even maybe cross stitching them. Just not sure what the easiest thing for me to do not having a sewing machine or a lot of practice with sewing.

I would suggest plush-type ears and tail, stiffened with wire so that they go where you want them to rather than flopping about all over the place. They'd actually be pretty simple to make and wouldn't take long!

A wire skeleton would be good for form and shaping and stability I reckon.
