I know we have a FML thread and this YML thread but is there a neutral inbetween one for general news?

Job interview on Monday.
Tuesday, another creative writing session.
Tuesday afternoon, talking to the Cornerstone Manager about possible volunteering.
Week on wednesday, start a cross stitch group.

So from no hope to omg don't crowd me!! This interview is a bit last minute, I just hope I can get a bit more info on it.

Wow! Nice! That's a good steady weight loss. It's great that you have a job you love. What type of work is it?

For my own YML, it's my birthday and my husband surprised me with a 3DS with Kingdom Hearts, Zelda Link Between Worlds, and Zelda Ocarina of Time. I haven't had a new handheld in YEARS. Now I have a 45 minute bus ride twice a day so plenty of time to play a bit. Only downside is that any playing at home will be with me trying to see between 2 small, curly heads as the kids try to hog the screen. We already had a fit this morning when I said we could not sit and play because we had to get ready for school. Now I just need to get my chores done and work enough on job stuff to justify a gaming break or three. :D

Happy Birthday to you yessamaca welcome to the 3DS family! :)

My YML is that I got feedback from my interciew today and it turbed out to be amazingly positive! I kinda knew the person who had run the interview, Jane, because the job was with prospect training, the group I have to go to to keep my benefits and who provide my advisor. There were two people in there that were the ones considering people for the job though.
Jane told me I had made a really great impression and that I looked smart and was confident, polite and intelligent. I got the highest marks on the tests we did!! (oh my wow!) she had great suggestions that suited me perfectly, which I shall be trying out next time!

The only downside is that they aren't putting me forward for the second interview for the job, but that was mainly because they didn't think it was the right job for me. Which I kinda thought anyway but wanted the experience. I am sooo happy I did it! Jane said she couldn't believe the transformation in me from seeing me in a couple of workshops a few months ago to now, she was really pleased.

I doubt this stupid grin on my face will disappear for a while....

That's great, QB! All interview experience is good experience, and now you have a good idea what you're doing right so you can make sure to do it next time. I hope you can find the right job for you soon :)

I am happy because I'm finally done working shifts and can go back to my normal routine, which will make my healthy diet and lifestyle (which has been suffering lately due to stress and weird hours) easier to maintain. Plus, my boss has recognised how hard I've been working and rated me really high on my performance review, which, frankly, just feels good!

A manager in another division called me this morning to potentially offer me another job! I've been in my current job for 7 years and I am way past done. This is the first time anyone has approached me like this. It feels pretty damn good! Even if it doesn't work out, it's still kinda cool. Especially since I am right in the middle of putting my resume together to start applying to jobs.
