The soda is such a trap! My boyfriend wants to lose weight and complains that he's fat even though he eats well/doesn't snack, and I'm all "Well... maybe it's because you drink ridiculous amounts of fruit juice and coke each day?" and he just doesn't get it. I've shown him the ingredients and calculated the amount of calories he gets from sugar in those drinks and still he just doesn't seem to believe soda or juice could contribute to him not losing weight.* Good on you for recognizing it!
