What games are you playing now, and why?

A while ago, I bought a game called Braid on my Xbox 360 and it was pretty awesome! The story was very unique and the puzzle were....puzzling. I just mean that they were really good and made you think. I finished it in a day but that's because I kinda obsessed about it and would NOT be defeated by a puzzle. But, I'd recommend it definitely. It even has an overall reference to Mario.

Also, I played a bit of Story of Seasons as well. It's going to be a cute game to play, I can tell. Switched it out for EMD, though, when it came out because farming games seem like one of those games that never ends so I can play it on and off while I beat other games like EMD. Heh.

Also been playing the two free Pokemon games from the eshop. The Rumble one is particularly fun. Just wish there was some way to get diamonds other than spending real money when I have no real money atm. LOL!

And we just took out a huge loan to pay off some bills (the higher than the loan's interest rate bills like our basement waterproofing we had done a couple of years ago) and replace our heater and air conditioner so probably won't be getting much of anything new for awhile. LOL!

I've been addicted to a game called Sopio. It's a British card game that my friend was introduced to by the creators themselves when she studied abroad in England. I found my decks and boosters the other day and started looking to see what other decks they've come out with when I found out they have an app!! It's $2.99 through iTunes and You play with 3 computers and unlock characters/cards as you do special things during the game. I HIGHLY recommend the game, especially if you like puns because they do too, and if anyone wants pointers or details about the game, just holler! Like I said, I've been addicted to it since I got the app a few days ago.

Pokermanz Omegle Rubix has now completely taken over my free time, to the point that I've been remiss in my stitching. I've been filling the national dex via GTS and breeding. I now only need 44 critters to be able to complete my dex (which is to say, I've got about 130 left to go, but many of those are evolutions / breeds I have yet to complete from both my current stock and the 44 I still need).

I recently decided to throw myself into the Wonder Trade community. Wonder Trade is a feature of sixth-generation Pokermanz games (X, Y, Omegle Rubix, and Alfalfa Sapsucker) whereby players put up a pokerman for a blind trade with a random partner from anywhere in the world. Frequently this is a dumping ground for people to trade off their early-route crap catches in hopes of finding something better. Thanks to the efforts of a YouTuber famous in the Pokermanz community, Wonder Trade Wednesday has become a weekly event where people breed / RNG decent critters and Wonder Trade them by the truckload. It's a good way to get good stuff. I'm in the aftergame, so I have plenty of ability to get whatever I need, so I've taken to breeding boxes of good starting parents full of good IVs and egg moves in order to give them out on Wednesday evenings.

Of course, if any of you are playing sixth-gen Pokerman games and want something cool bred for you (or a decent parent for your own breeding projects), I'm at your disposal.

My husband just got me into Dark Souls 2 and now I'm hooked. I hated this game for the LONGEST time because I'd only watched him play and I tend to be a backseat gamer (anyone else?), so I was over critical of what I saw. Now I'm playing it myself and oh my gosh I feel like I was missing out and now I want to PLAY ALL THE GAMES!

Finally picked up Etrian Odyssey Untold again since the sequel is on the way out, and am currently watching my brother struggle playing Bloodborne with his friend. Kudos to them though, they finally found the first boss.

Now there's just the problem of beating it......

Either way, it's great entertainment.

Anyone else check out the Puzzles & Dragons Z/Puzzle Dragons SMB edition game in the eshop? I really should have waited for it to go on sale and saved some money but I pre-ordered it instead. Hubby gave me $100 to spend on games for Mother's Day so I've been grabbing up some cheap eshop games. I also checked out the new Stretchmo game as well. You can do the first 7 puzzles for free, which was great because I'd never played the other two in the series so I wanted to know if I would like it or not. I purchased the rest of the puzzles in their special price 4-pack thing. I picked up SMB 2 so now all I need is The Lost Levels to complete my old Mario games that are available on the DS. Also picked up Brunch Panic on sale, Fishdom H2O, Tangram Attack, and Citizens of Earth.

Also, if anyone has Diablo 3...there are rumors of a non-existent cow level available from the 15th to the 21st. Didn't hear it from me though...
