I play violin and viola. I used to play in a lot of orchestras and groups but dont really have the time at the moment. These days I mainly play celtic fiddle - mostly Irish with a good dash of Scottish. I want to branch into scandinavian, cape breton and some of the eastern european styles as well though

I can't wait for Dr Who and Sherlock to start up again.

Other good series that come to mind are Dollhouse (Joss Whedon), West Wing and of course Game of Thrones

Celtic Fiddle! D: *squeals* I love the sound of those! and ALL the series you just mentioned are right up there in the awesome catagory ^_^ The west wing is absolutely fantastic

I *love* Arrested Development! And there have been so many people that have recommended Game of Thrones that I am going to cave.

I also play flute! It is, by far, the most heavenly of all instruments. Could we have a flute rock band? Or maybe a Celtic punk band?

Oh right, even though I wanted to play the piano forever, a couple years ago I decided that it might be too big too fit in my little bedroom, so i took up the violin instead. Still have it, but stopped playing cause I ran out off money due to college fees. Now I (or rather my boyfriend) inherited a piano, allowing for my dream to come to reality. Also moving out of that bedroom to a place of our own helped. Still love that violin though, might pick it up again someday.
Love to hear so many other people playing instruments.
