Large Avengers WIP

Thought I'd have a separate thread for work in progress updates of my big Avengers project.

Woah, that nuts! But if you really actually continue into this one, this is going be one grandly kick butt cross-stitch piece. I don't see myself ever doing anything that extreme, size perhaps, colors no way, heck, anything around a dozen different colors is a lot for me. Can imagine this'll be a piece that could take up much of your time for a good year or so.

I'll be working on it until I finish, whether or not it'll be done in time for the comic shop's 5th anniversary is another thing :tomato: I have most of the threads and I'm getting the hang of using a scroll frame too.

apparently thread 3773 has been discontinued and its said to use 407 instead

Will put another picture update up this weekend. Would've updated sooner but had to unpick a good 50 stitches for being one stitch out. :banghead:

Found Captain America to be quite dark, however it still works, and having the threads in front of me, I think the others are just fine. I'm not going to change CA for my picture, as I quite like the effect (luckily my comic book guy's favourite is Ironman, and he seems to be perfect) but advise anyone wanting to have a go to try and get brighter colours for CA or at least more blue...
