I can't stitch today (bad day, lack of sleep and a headache) so I decided to take the time to update my Batgirl progress.

I fall more in love with this pattern as I go! However my pattern is covered in pen marks from all the adjustments I've made. I may have to update the pattern when I'm done.

But I need some help. Batgirls's utility belt is barely visible. You can actually see it better in the pic then in real life.

I'm thinking I should find a darker "mustard" colour to outline just the belt in (the pale yellow is dmc 3823 & the mustard yellow is dmc 676). Any ideas to help me out?

BTW the bat symbol glows in the dark.

I know it isn't how the original picture is, but I would actually fill the area in with the yellow to get it to stand out more. I always find it difficult for yellow to show against pink.

After looking at my work again I think your solution may be best. The bat symbol is in glow floss so I'll look for a similar colour in regular dmc floss & try that (I'm trying to keep the colours simplified for the look I'd like at the end). I think that shade of yellow will be bright enough to stand out.

I can't believe how fast I'm stitching. I hope I can finish this before Monday though because I go back to work full-time and I have Christmas presents to stitch so no time for Batgirl

Now to wash, iron & frame her. I don't know if I can do it.
